Encouraging young people to join our industry

We are delighted to confirm that since our attendance at the Suffolk Skills Show in October we have now employed two further technical apprentices within our commercial department. One of these positions has been filled by a candidate who visited our stand at the show.

To follow up on this valuable event a film crew from BoMoJo representing ICanBeA (a further contact from the Suffolk Skills Show) visited our head office to document the work we do with our apprentices and trainees.    This included making an informative Video of three of our trainees about their careers at the company, why they have chosen this route and the training they have and will receive along the way. These short clips will be made available to school leavers and young people who have an interest in our industry and will hopefully encourage these people to consider R & D and similar businesses as a long term career choice.

We are pleased to showcase the video of one of our commercial department trainees Rheanna Pavey, who we met at the Suffolk Skills show.   Our thanks go to James Quinton who made all of the arrangements for this to take place and also to Barry and Cristina from BoMoJo for a job well done.
